Currently Engaged

Yesterday was a windy, cold, rainy day, but instead of reading, I continued working on my various sewing projects. I did spend about 30 minutes on Alias Grace, but that was the extent of my reading.

I posted the review of Tender at the Bone in November Reading the other day, and intended to quickly finish up with Alias Grace, but still have a ways to go.

Here are some of the books on my Want to Read List (and where I can remember, the blog source):
A-B
Aldrich, Bess Streeter. A Lantern in Her Hand. (booklogged)
Atwood, Magaret. Alias Grace. (Reading Matters) [currently reading]
Aycliff, Jonathan . The Lost.
Baricco, Alessandro. Silk. (Reading Matters)
Berry, Liz. The China Garden. (bklogged)
Birkin, Andrew. J.M. Barrie and the Lost Boys: The Real Story
Behind Peter Pan.

Blake, Sarah. The Grange House. (My Indiv. Take)
Buzbee, Lewis. The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop. (A Wk in Pr.)

  1. A Lantern in Her Hand is one of my all-time favorites! I discovered Aldrich when we moved to Nebraska. Definitely one to read again someday.

I enjoyed The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop quite well. It brought back quite a few memories of working in a bookstore a few years ago. I reviewed it this past summer.

  2. Jenclair, I have never read A Lantern in Her Hand, so someone else must have suggested it. After what Les had to say about it (above), I need to add it to my list. I'm going to wait until you review the J.M. Barrie book before adding it.

  3. Les - Since I was mistaken about Booklogged recommending A Lantern in Her Hand, I may have found it on your blog! :P

Booklogged - I don't have most of these books...yet. This is just from the list of books I've jotted down from visiting different blogs. And it just keeps growing!
