Baton Rouge and the Grands

So good to see Erin and Eric and their new house...which is still very much "in process." Eric has turned into quite a carpenter and is doing (and has done) a marvelous job. Time consuming and terribly hot for that kind of work, but everything he does, he finishes beautifully.

Erin has had to drive to Lafayette each day for the last two weeks for a trial and was exhausted and half sick with allergies. Max and Mila, however, were full of beans. We kept them with us at the hotel Saturday night and were in the pool early Sunday morning. It was 104 degrees in Baton Rouge on Saturday, but the humidity was fairly low, which helps. Still everything outside smelled a bit like an oven. Not sure what the temperature reached on Sunday, but even before 10:00, it was pretty warm.

Those grandchildren are so beautiful. I'll bet you thoroughly enjoyed visiting with family and it sounds like Erin was grateful for the help. Jenclair, you and your husband make are both so good-looking.

What adorable grandchildren! The pool looks very inviting. It's been hot in my part of the country too.

What beautiful grandchildren! How fun to be able to spend some time with them, even (or especially!) when they are full of beans!
