I even like the characters better than the ones in The Paris Winter. Yet, I find the difference in style between the the series set in the late 18th c. and the stand alone set in the early 20th c. pretty impressive.<br /><br />Vicki - :) I'm always surprised when I find a book that got mislaid or forgotten.
