One interesting aspect is how skeletal remains and other material deliberately or inadvertently placed in the gravesite can give information about diet, local plant material, nutrition, general health, etc., and then gives examples like case studies in sociology. You are drawn simultaneously into the time period of the remains and that of the scientists examining them.

Lisa-- I read The Poe Shadow resentfully. It never improved. I should have given the name and artist: Blue Girl Reading by Auguste Macke.

Heather-- You betcha! I'd much rather blame them than admit a failure of will on my part!

Jill-- I'll do a post with the titles tomorrow. :)jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22616974.post-52164247217324810872007-02-10T19:02:00.000-06:002007-02-10T19:02:00.000-06:00But you didn't say what it was that you had ordere...But you didn't say what it was that you had ordered from that evil, evil amazon (as Heather calls it.)Jill ONeillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03348126772146456322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22616974.post-911676453769348262007-02-10T16:40:00.000-06:002007-02-10T16:40:00.000-06:00That evil, evil amazon! heheThat evil, evil amazon! heheHeatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13979896448183348883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22616974.post-80921361238818647742007-02-10T15:36:00.000-06:002007-02-10T15:36:00.000-06:00I tried reading The Poe Shadow last fallish and wo...I tried reading The Poe Shadow last fallish and wound up tossing it aside, unfinished.
