I've been intrigued with religious relics since reading The Pardoner's Tale so many years ago. Love the cynical approach Crispin takes about holy relics and the paradoxical way these relics seem to be drawn to him.jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22616974.post-14117989837568637252018-07-26T10:54:37.054-05:002018-07-26T10:54:37.054-05:00Both are interesting! Both are interesting!jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22616974.post-27053880603442100002018-07-25T21:58:44.323-05:002018-07-25T21:58:44.323-05:00I had heard that theory about the plague spreading...I had heard that theory about the plague spreading more in some areas do to the prejudice against cats. I am so glad Walters' book turned out well. That's on my to read list. I am looking forward to it. I also am really curious about The Deepest Grave. Could totally see how having no cats at all would allow the rats (the plague carriers) to flourish. I'm going to watch for this one. Reminds me a bit of Geraldine Brooks book, Year of Wonders, with a village isolated from others during illness. Think it takes place in the 1600's though.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495669354860191042noreply@blogger.com
