  2. What a great list! Inkheart made mine, and I am really enjoying it. Does the Book Without Word really have no words?

  7. I read Amulet of Samarkand several weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with Jonathan Stroud and the Bartimaeus trilogy! (I'm currently reading Ptolemy's Gate.) You'll have to let me know what you think of it!

  8. I see a lot of YA - something that I intended to do but more with classics like Kidnapped and Jungle Book. There was an amazing special at chapters and I just picked up half a dozen. Sooo exciting. i love challenges.

  13. LF - I've heard good things about this one.

Rae - Some of these titles I found from perusing list of fantasy books. Some I've heard about the authors. :)

Boltbabe - I notice you have a lot of fantasy on your list, too. Sometimes dragons and magic are just what is called for!

  17. These challenges are so tempting! I think I am definitely going to have to give Neil Gaiman a try--my library has Coraline, so I may have to check that one out!
