When a woman is killed on the way home from a yoga class, the wealthy husband is a suspect, but since he didn't commit the crime himself, Noah and Connor look for a third party.
When they get too close, the killer targets Noah. And Sweet Pea.
I enjoyed this first book in a new-to-me series and look forward to more.

Hadn't heard of that author or series, but will look for it. Sounds like one I'd enjoy. Your cards are so beautiful! Glad you enjoyed your April letter writing!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't familiar with this author, either. Thanks, Kay--I did have fun with the April letter writing. :)
DeleteOh I hadn't heard of Winter Song but I like it! Another one to add for my list. And, I got my letter yesterday. Love it. Your artwork is so creative and happy! I promise to write back soon.
ReplyDeleteAnother Texas mystery setting. :) Glad your letter arrived safely!
DeleteWinter Song sounds good. I'm adding it to my list, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked it, but I was really mad when the killer targeted Sweet Pea!
DeleteSuch pretty cards! Nice to get in on the ground floor of a new series! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to get the first in the series, knowing there are three more. So often I start in the middle or with the last in the series and have to go back to get the earlier books!
DeleteSounds like a good start of a new series. Will check out that book. And such lovely, colourful mails you've there! :)
ReplyDeleteA letter is heading your way, Melody. :)
DeleteWinter Song does look good -- and is new to me too!
ReplyDeleteSince the series is set in Houston, I wonder if there will be a book about the flood in the future....
DeleteGoing after Sweet Pea is a big mistake! This does sound like a great start to a new series!
ReplyDeleteDon't mess with a man's dog! Or a woman's!
