Kelly, Jim. The Coldest Blood.
Phillip Dryden is a reporter for a small town in the Cambridgeshire Fens. When Declan McIlroy's body is found, the police rule it suicide, but Dryden finds the verdict curious and does some investigating on his own.
When Declan's best friend also turns up dead, Dryden is determined to discover the reason. At the same time, Dryden is also investigating allegations of abuse concerning a Catholic orphanage.
Twist after twist in this novel, including the fact that Dryden's wife appears to be emerging from years in a coma...

Hi Jenclair, I had wondered what you had been up to. Thanks for updating us.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds good. Is it one of a series?
I've been doing yoga too. Finished the Beginners Series. Took my first real hatha class today. I'm going to write a self-nurture post at the end of this week or early next talking about it. I'm loving it, by the way.
Kay - The book is part of a series, but I don't think I'll continue with it. The wife-in-the-coma portion is a bit too depressing for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are going to love yoga as much as I do! Are you going to Yoga Yoga or another studio?
Looking forward to your self-nurture post!
