Found The Ultimate Guide: Best Places to Get Free Books, which I'll check out better later. The SF-Books had some interesting titles.

300 Women Who Changed the World also had some interesting material.

Or how about 15 Things Kurt Vonnegut Said Better Than Anyone Else Ever Has or Ever Will.

  1. I really need to read some of Vonnegut's work. I think I may have to make that a priority when I'm done with all my challenge reads. Reading this article, I'm even more convinced that I would enjoy his writing a great deal.

  2. Those are some great Vonnegut quotes. And free books, how can you go wrong? Thanks for the links!

  3. These links are great. Some of those free books are recent books, not classics.

  4. quixotic - I've read only one - Slaughter-house Five, so I could profit from a little more Vonnegut, myself!

G.R. - I'm still exploring the Best Guide site!

kailana - I was surprised by that, too. Did not expect to see such recent books on some of the lists.

  6. These are very helpful links, thanks, Jenclair. I especially loved the Kurt Vonnegut quotes. It saddens me to think we won't be hearing any more gems from him.

  8. iliana - Mmmhmm...it is an interesting site, just what we need, eh? :)

Lotus - Vonnegut was an original, and I need to read more of him!

danielle - I didn't realize it either! I'm not really interested in e-books, but some of the others are worth looking into.

  9. Jenclair, friends of mine have also been using BOOKSWIM, apparently it could become the netflix of books...it works like a library rental, but if you like a book well enough you can keep it and pay them for it.

Will return to read your meme, 8 Things.
