Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Yesterday was library day for me.  I indulged in a bunch of mysteries and some YA novels that I've been reading about in the blog world.  This is the Library Loot for Friday:

The Grave Tattoo--Val McDermid
Death Echo--Elizabeth Lowell
Bury Your Dead--Louise Penny
Mortal Engines--Philip Reeve
Predator's Gold--Philip Reeve
The Hunchback Assignments--Arthur Slade

I read The Hunchback Assignments by Slade last night and enjoyed it!

Still haven't finished reviewing books read during the last week, but I'm getting to them gradually.

Don't forget to check this post for the give away.

  1. I'm on a library ban for the rest of the year so I can tackle more of my stacks but I miss the library! :)

Looking forward to your review of Bury your Dead. I was not impressed with Penny's last book but I really like the characters she's created so I will probably read this one too just not rushing out to it.

  2. Iliana - I liked this one much better than the last one, but one storyline revisits that book's mystery.

  3. Great library haul. The only one I have read is The Hunchback Assignments. Arthur Slade is a great author!

  4. Kailana - I really liked The Hunchback Assignments and look forward to more in this series!
