WWI Reading

Trench Literature -- Reading in WWI from ABE Books.  What were the ordinary soldiers reading during the first World War?  Trench Literature is an interesting article that gives some of the titles that the men in the trenches read.

  2. What a neat list! I was hoping to see my favorite old-timey author, P.C. Wren, on there - but actually I think he didn't write his best books until a few years after the first World War had ended.

  3. Kailana - :) I thought it was interesting, especially as I like reading about WWI. It is a little different take to examine the popular reading of soldiers during that time...

    Jenny - I'll have to check on P.C. Wren! I've never read anything by him, although I've heard the name.
