The Gentleman and the Thief includes the previous characters, but focuses on Hollis Darby and Ana Newport.
from description: A gentleman scribes penny dreadful novels by night and falls in love with a woman who is a music teacher by day and a thief at night.
The penny dreadful stories didn't work quite as well in this one, but it was still a fun read.

Sounds like a fun read! Will keep these two books in mind. :)
ReplyDeleteStart with the first book, The Lady and the Highwayman!
DeleteSounds fun! I've read a couple of Sarah Eden's books and enjoyed them, so I'll have to check this series out.
ReplyDeleteLove that meme so much! It's so true! :D
It is a fun series. :) Although we don't need any more of 2020, I'd like to get rid of DST all together.
Deletelol. We really don't need an extra hour of 2020! :D
ReplyDeleteNo, we've had about enough of this year!
DeleteLove the meme, but it has no real meaning here in Phoenix. We don't mess with our clocks!
ReplyDeleteI know, and good for Arizona abjuring the torture of DST!
DeleteGreat meme! I wish we do away with Daylight Savings Time.
ReplyDeleteI agree! This year would be a great time to start!
DeleteLet me add my vote to junking the whole Daylight Savings Time fiasco. I hate jumping back and forth for no good reason, and I always feel sorry for high school students standing in the dark waiting on a school bus.
ReplyDelete:) This is the year to get rid of DST. I'd love not to "Spring Forward" in 2021!
DeleteThat meme is the best -- and most accurate this year. I like the premise of this -- and I adore that she's a music teacher under the mantle of polite society and a thief by night!
ReplyDeleteIt is a funny meme. :) When I started the first book, The Lady and the Highwayman, the first chapter left me wondering if I'd like it. I was glad I kept reading because it was such fun. I enjoyed The Gentleman and the Thief, too, and look forward to what the author comes up with next.
