Assassins at Osprey

Raichev, R.T. Assassins at Osprey.

6 word synopsis: Two by two; pairings and murder.

This is the third "country house" mystery by Raichev. I enjoyed the fast reading, complicated plot and will look for the previous mysteries involving mystery writer Antonia Darcy and her husband Major Hugh Payne. There is a murder, but "assassins" is a bit of a misnomer. Light, but fun.

Fiction. Mystery. 2008. 222 pages.

  1. I am enjoying your 6 word synopsis. Tells me all I need to know in a few words.

I plan to check this one out at my neighborhood library soon but not until I read some of the books that are stacked up around me calling my name.

  3. I think I need to "steal" your 6 word synopsis reviews -- it might be the only way for me to catch up! :)
I'd not heard of this mystery writer but I like the country house setting so I'll check it out!

  4. Tempting! I do enjoy a good "country house" mystery. Particularly if they are light and fun.

  5. Iliana - Sometimes the 6 word thing is easier than others! I'm stuck on one now...just can't find the right 6 words. When they come easily, though, it sure makes the review process quicker!

Jill - I'd not heard of Raichev before, but I like his style. Very quick reading.
