Thanks for joining the spring challenge! Your list looks very interesting -- I had to look up a couple of those books because I hadn't heard of them before. Hope you enjoy all your reading!

What a great list! Inkheart made mine, and I am really enjoying it. Does the Book Without Word really have no words?

I've read one book by Avi, with my kids. It was Windcatcher, a great children's myster story. Your whole list looks good!

Katrina - I love the logo and how can I resist when I can combine your challenge and the fantasy/fairy tale challenge!

taunalen - My version does! I've heard good things about Inkheart; good to know you're enjoying it!

Kathleen - Avi has an excellent reputation in children's lit!

Deena - Have you read him before? He's new to me.

I read Amulet of Samarkand several weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with Jonathan Stroud and the Bartimaeus trilogy! (I'm currently reading Ptolemy's Gate.) You'll have to let me know what you think of it!

I see a lot of YA - something that I intended to do but more with classics like Kidnapped and Jungle Book. There was an amazing special at chapters and I just picked up half a dozen. Sooo exciting. i love challenges.

Susanne - Thanks!

Becky - Wonderful! I was hoping that I'd want to read the entire thing!

Nessie -Yes, about half of them are YA or children's lit, and I'm excited that so many look good.

LF - I've heard good things about this one.

Rae - Some of these titles I found from perusing list of fantasy books. Some I've heard about the authors. :)

Boltbabe - I notice you have a lot of fantasy on your list, too. Sometimes dragons and magic are just what is called for!

Sounds like a wonderful list! I really enjoyed Coraline myself. But that's the only one I've read.
Happy reading...and happy spring!

These challenges are so tempting! I think I am definitely going to have to give Neil Gaiman a try--my library has Coraline, so I may have to check that one out!

My son has read the Bartimaeus Trilogy and loves it.

I plan to check out this series as well as some of the other books on your list!

Enjoy!

Danielle - I don't have any other challenges going right now and these two dovetail so nicely!

Amy - :) No higher recommendation than the target audience!
