How pretty and love the pictures of the kitties. They are not sure what this is are they? We just missed the snow. It was really cold and rainy here yesterday but we were just a few degrees above freezing. I think it got as far south as Waco and Temple and Dallas got a lot. Enjoy, Jenclair!
Beautiful pictures, Jenclair! Your yard is gorgeous and that flash photo really emphasises the textures.
Love the kitty pics, too. I had a fleeting thought that it's a good thing I haven't managed to find kittens, yet, because I would have plunked them in the snow to photograph and probably given them pneumonia. Yours look like they were having fun exploring.
Nancy - It was fun, wasn't it, having that once-a-decade-or-so real snow! The Triad loved it for a few minutes, but then they were more than ready to come in!
We got some of that this past week as well. Looked really pretty.
I had to laugh at myself, as I scrolled down looking at your pics I initially thought your cat had a snowball on its head! I still can't look at it without getting the image of a cat with a snow turban!

ReplyDeleteWe got the snow too! Love your pictures!! The first one with the fountain in it is just enchanting!!
ReplyDeleteKay - It didn't last long, but it was so pretty! Sorry you missed it!
ReplyDeleteSherri - There were lots of snow men, but the kids had to work fast!
And then there is us who normally have lots of snow and have like none...
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! The snow down here didn't stick around for long, but my parents' puppy enjoyed it thoroughly while it was here.
ReplyDeleteKailana - Isn't that the way of things? I'm sure parts of the country are really, really tired of it, but it is such a novelty for us!
ReplyDeleteJenny - :) It is always fun to watch animals and children with their first snow. They really don't know what to think about all the white stuff!

ReplyDeleteYour kitties didn't mind the snow? Mine like to eat it but eek! don't let it touch their delicate toes!

Stefanie - We were surprised at how long they wanted to stay out, but their curiosity kept them exploring!
ReplyDeleteCarl - I had not noticed that Edgar looked like he had a snowball on his head! He's such a sartorial cat, posing with his snow turban. :)
